- The Breakfast and Sitting Room provides a restful space for lounging and for breakfast in the morning. Visitors are welcome to use the mini-bar with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, icemaker and small hand sink. The décor is knotty pine and off-white Berber carpeting. At the far end of this room is a seating area with loveseat, chair, lounge, lamp, and television/DVD/VCR system. This space is for the guests to relax at the end of the day or to lounge in.
- The Three-Season Sunroom is also available to guests, weather permitting. The room is decorated in pink with lacy curtains and wicker furniture. It provides excellent opportunities to watch the river and the birds.
Breakfast:
The selection for breakfast will include traditional country cooking, such as eggs, turkey bacon or turkey sausage, toast, pancakes; an assortment of fruit; cold cereals or oatmeal; and juice, coffee, or tea.
For a hot breakfast, you will be given a menu the evening before and asked to make selections for a specific time in the morning. Guests who need to leave early, before 7 a.m. will be provided a continental or cold breakfast with coffee, tea, or juice.
Amenities:
As a bed and breakfast, we plan to offer traditional amenities to begin and possible expand them later on. Upon arrival, guest will be offered cookies or other sweets and something to drink. Water will be provided in the rooms and in the refrigerator in the breakfast area. Evening is greeted with chocolates provided by Brands Candies. Wake-up service is also offered. We expect to serve business people, couples, and single adults visiting Muncie and surrounding areas on business or pleasure.
